Delta Scuti

from NEBULA SEPTEM by MONOLITHE

/
  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

    DIGIPACK CD

7 musicians gathered to record the 7-minutes songs to feature on MONOLITHE’s 7th opus - NEBULA SEPTEM.

On the album, the tonality of each song is one of the 7th notes of the western scale.
The first letter of the songs’ titles is one of the 7th first letters of the alphabet ; It is also the tonality of each song - from A to G.

Song lyrics develop science-fiction stories mainly focused on extra-terrestrial life. The music - while reminiscent of the band’s usual touch, is a new step ahead in the band’s career, with new influences and a rejuvenating approach.

lyrics

Star shining no more
Dim blaze slowly parting
Pale spot in the abyss

Sunk in the myriads
Fuel almost gone

Mega structure unmasked
Millenary years of suction

All energy harvested
Stellar engine gathering
Yielding plasma away
Futuristic machineryR
Encircling behemoth
Draining resources

Woeful abduction
Securing the supply
Titanic reap station
Relentless muster

Raw matter inhaled
Feeding from the useless
Ingesting raw light
Stack means of survival

Forging a gap within the universe
Channeling gravity into stockpiles
Chaperons of the cosmic concentration
Streamliners from the dawn of galaxies

Swarm of unearthly farmers collecting
Exhausting the cosmic edifice

Routing celestial wealth afar
Leaving worlds deprived in the cold
