Favorite track: The Barren Depths.

sennin A pulverizing platter of Funeral Doom Metal. Dark, piercing, brutal, and emotive. I've bought this album twice now, once digitally and a second time on vinyl. "The Barren Depths" is worth the price tag alone, but the whole album shines in its brutal brilliance. Favorite track: The Barren Depths.

"A few months after the release of the highly acclaimed "Epsilon Aurigae", the French Cosmic Doom Masters, Monolithe, are about to release the second part of this ambitious project. Entitled "Zeta Reticuli", this colossal new opus contains 3 long, powerful and epic compositions :

    1. Ecumenopolis
    2. TMA-1
    3. The Barren Depths

"Zeta Reticuli", probably the magnum opus of this incredibly unique and talented band, expands the definition of Doom Metal in a grandiose refinement and reinvention of MONOLITHE’s history.

As usual the conceptual artwork has been realized by Norwegian Artist Robert Høyem (Overhaus).

This much awaited new masterpiece will be released on July 8th by Debemur Morti Productions on Digipack CD and Digital.

Ecumenopolis 15:00
Arcological structures upsurging Conurbation of oppidan fauna All land has been ingested Tentacular megacities originate Coalesced in a monolithic town Planet scale expended architecture Grounds binding in asphalt Down - up - everywhere The building never ends Underwater suburbs crowded Orbital stations run out of space Above a creature of huddled masses That would never ever sleep Tubes transfuse connected areas This world is one Amalgam of a single quantum Cyclopean ekistic metroplex A sphere shining like a sun Thickly populated megalopolis Industrial nature of steel and cement Within the skyscraping urban monads The core is the whole

Companionless ship navigates through ether Forlorn artifact floating upon the deep Soaked in waves of desolation Lone, it has long been forgotten Directionless shape drifting away Vagabond beyond the depths of space Along the bounds of universe Sliding further in the oblivious tides Moving black dot within the void Forever, pitch-black all over Roaming in a tenebrous emptiness Solitary journey in nothingness Isolated in darkness Traces of sentience on a blank infinity Eternally sinking in the hollow sea Along the bounds of universe Sliding further in the oblivious tides Moving black dot within the void Forever, pitch-black all over Directionless shape drifting away Vagabond beyond the depths of space
